  Monica O'Leary 

Monica joins us with experience from top spas in Manhattan and the Hamptons.  She practices Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports Massage, Shiatsu, Reflexology and Reiki.  Monica individualizes all sessions by using a combination of modalities that will most benefit the client. She is licensed in New York and Connecticut and has National Certification.  She is certified in prenatal and postpartum massage therapy, as well as Parent-Infant Massage Instruction.  Monica has also taken classes at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and works with clients in the midst and recovering from illness.  Monica works on all variety of clients including those training for marathons and those recovering from repetitive use injuries.  She has an AD from the Swedish Institute for Massage Therapy and a BA from George Washington University.

Amy Tobey  Amy Tobey 

Licensed Massage Therapist Amy Letsch is a 2005 graduate from the CT Center for Massage Therapy.  She is Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork and a member of the American Massage Therapy Association.   Her focus in the field of massage is to create general well being in her clients through decreasing muscle soreness and stiffness, with an emphasis on stress relief and relaxation.  It is Amy’s belief that massage provides an opportunity to give oneself the gift of focusing on their body in a productive and healing way.   Amy brings to her practice a variety of interests and education, which informs her work.  She has earned an Associates Degree in General Studies with high honors from Housatonic Community College and continues her academic studies by pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in the Natural Health field.  Amy has also been training in the martial Arts since May of 2000 and has achieved her Black belt.

Rita Shepard  Rita Shepard 

Rita is a graduate of the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy, a Licensed massage Therapist (May '06) in the State of Connecticut and a member of the AMTA. She received her training and certification in Thai Yoga Massage from the Lotus Palm School in Montreal. She also received her 200 hour teacher training certification in Hatha Yoga in 1998 and has been teaching Hatha and Vinyasa for the past 6 years.  Her love of Yoga and teaching inspired her to pursue a path in the healing arts. Through her intense study of the human anatomy and the many modalities of massage, she connected strongly with Thai Massage because of its beautiful philosophy, Ayurvedic tradition and connection to yogic movement.  Rita brings Metta (love and kindness) to all of her work. She believes that we all can achieve well-being through consciousness. She feels infinite gratitude that through her practice of Yoga and massage she can guide her clients and students toward a greater sense of self-awareness, wellness and peace...
